When did you start CrossFit and why did you choose OP?
I started at OP back in June and was ultimately drawn to the tight knit community and the serious dedication by coaches to ensure proper technique, form, recovery, etc.
What was your first workout/most memorable workout?
Kobe Ikaika…definitely a doozy for a first WOD! Somehow I just kept coming back haha
What were/are your goals and how has CrossFit and OP helped you accomplish them?
I’d love nothing more than to continue getting stronger and quicker in my movements and form. Ideally, my goal is to continue to push myself to be a better athlete than when I first walked in the doors. Everyone has been extremely motivating and they want nothing more than to see you succeed – and that’s what makes coming so much more of a no brainer. Plus, it’s always nice to have some friendly competition!
What are your favorite CrossFit movements and why?
I actually had the HARDEST time learning how to kip so now it’s like one of those movements I find myself doing almost every day for fun.
What is your proudest CrossFit accomplishment?
Just seeing how much stronger I’ve become has been the biggest accomplishment I could ask for!
What’s something memorable you’ve learned at OP from the coaches, the members, or about yourself that you’d like to share with others?!
